Unix Porting, established in 2001, is the premier source of information and services for anyone with an interest in the porting and portability of Unix software. If we can help you with your software projects in any way, please visit our Unix consulting page and we will do our best to help you out.
Our team of Unix programmers and administrators is led by Murray Nesbitt, a 15-year veteran of Unix programming and system administration, whose industry experience includes periods at two prominent Unix vendors--SCO and IBM. He has been involved with Linux since 1992, is an instructor for the Solaris CSA certification, and has had significant exposure to FreeBSD, OpenBSD and HP-UX in his broad Unix background.
He holds a B.Sc. degree in Computational Science and is a Sun Certified System Administrator for Solaris 8.
Interested in becoming one of our Unix wizards? If you have at least 10 years experience with Unix system administration and/or programming, let us know how we can learn more about you. Preference will be given to those with broad experience with different Unix variants, and to those with specific experience with Unix software porting.
