HP-UX users *need* the Software Porting and Archive Centre.
Open source software for IRIX users can be found at SGI's freeware site.
Solaris freeware junkies can get their fix at the Sun Freeware site.
For UnixWare users, we suggest the FreeBird Project, whose slogan is "making SCO UnixWare® easier to live with". -- Update: unfortunately, this site seems to no longer exist.
